Martial Arts Goal: Enhancing my involvement in my community by making it a safer and more positive environment in which families and their children may live.

Darren Fulmore has been practicing Kuk Sool Won™ since 2005 when he decided to stop being a spectator and join his daughter who had started Kuk Sool Won™ two years earlier. His main goal at the time was to get into better shape and have shared family activity. After achieving this goal and becoming a 1st degree black belt, he volunteers his time assisting PSBN Godfrey and KSN Moore in both the Children's and the Adult Programs.

His favorite forms are Guhm Moo Hyung and Goh Gup Hyung and he really likes the Too Ki and Dee Eui Bok Soo technique sets. Darren gets the opportunity to demonstrate his enthusiam for these forms and techniques when Kuk Sool Won™ of Washington, DC performs demonstrations at special community events.

Darren received a Bachelor of Arts in African American History and Psychology from Temple University as well as a Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology at Howard University. Darren's other interests include gaming, reading, traveling, and politics.

Since joining Kuk Sool Won™ of Washington DC, Darren has appreciated how PSBN treats his students more like family than trainees, encouraging them to strive for the best in themselves.
